Characters on hold
Benefit: Whenever a rogue with this talent attacks a flat-footed opponent during a surprise round, she may designate one attack that round as an Ambush, dealing an amount of extra damage equal to her rogue level if the attack is successful. This extra damage is considered additional weapon damage, and is multiplied on a critical hit.
Furthermore, if the attack is a sneak attack, 1/2 of the sneak attack damage dice pool (rounded down) is changed to weapon damage for this attack only, bypassing precision damage immunity if the creature has it. This weapon damage cannot be multiplied on a critical hit.
This talent adds an effect to a rogue’s sneak attack. Only one of these type of talents can be applied to an individual attack and the decision must be made before the attack roll is made.
